About Me
Seeking a Product Designer position where I can use my experience as a mechanical designer and expertise in 3D CAD modeling techniques. • More than twenty years experience designing and drafting mechanical systems, structures and mechanisms from clean sheet and conception through fabrication, delivery and installation. • Created 3D CAD models for machined parts, sheet metal parts & weldments, plastic parts, carbon composite parts and tooling, complex assemblies and complete systems. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently. Have communicated with a wide range of individuals including non-engineers and suppliers. • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing techniques (GD&T) ANSI or ASME Y14.5M 1994. • Experience with UG NX5, Solid Edge, Catia, SolidWorks, SDRC Ideas, Pro/Engineer, and AutoCAD.
